Overview

YOUR SUMMIT STRATEGY

Ladies and theybees, pace yourselves. This Women in Camp Summit is packed with 125% content so that you can choose where to put 100% of your learning time.

You are only human, so remember to take breaks as you need them. Your brain is doing a lot of hard work!

PHRASEOLOGY

Below are phrases and terms that are used to describe the different kinds of learning, community, and networking opportunities we have at the Summit. We encourage you to take the time to look through this page, as it offers you an idea of what to expect during the Summit.

DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS

We know you all know what development sessions are and that they're great for your professional growth, but remember: WICS does it better! Along with timely subject matter, insights, and useful tips, our speakers have worked hard to make sure their sessions are engaging and filled with opportunities for discussion and questions.

INTENSIVE SESSIONS

**NEW IN 2023**

You know how you sometimes leave a session wishing there was more time, a part two, or a chance to dig just a little deeper?  Us too!  That's why we're introducing Deep Dive sessions this year. These 2-hour intentional intensives will allow us an opportunity to really tackle a subject, work through some issues, and come up with real and practical solutions. We're stoked!

LIFT YOUR VOICE (LYV) SESSIONS

These concentrated presentations (20 minutes) explore a wide range of topics.

Why so short? Well... there is just so much to talk about, we need to pack it all in! Plus, we want to create opportunities for ALL women and nonbinary people to feel comfortable presenting and ALL learning styles to soak up valuable information during the Summit.

MENTOR CHATS, OR MENTORS PROGRAM

During the Summit, you may wish to sign up for a 20-minute, one-on-one conversation with one of the Wonder Women in the camp industry. Ask questions, pick their brains, and learn from their experiences.

SHERO TALKS

SHARE. HEAR. EMPOWER. RAISE. OWN.

Together, we’ll choose the topics we’d like to delve into for small group, guided discussions to be absolutely certain we are giving time and thought to as many of the issues affecting us in the industry today.

WICS POP UP EVENTS

With the support of the International Camping Fellowship WICS Pop-Up Events are an extension of the Summit, so that women and nonbinary camp pros everywhere can gather in an easy, low-pressure setting near them.

VILLAGES

Each one of us gets to be part of a small core discussion group. We will enjoy several coffee breaks and meals together with our Villages to debrief our Summit experiences and make closer connections.
